Negative experience: 0/5 stars poor, Cooper booked me on late flights, failed to communicate to me that my accomadation was not ready until 2pm I arrived early in the morning 2am, failed to provide communication on different timezones, left me in the lurch at the airport as transfers were not confirmed, what a poor start to my trip in rarotonga, failed to communicate to the accomadation when they tried to email them on my behalf, never again, ‍♀️ time and money wasted with this company, if you have sense, do not recommend and pushed through the package with no refundable anything, frustrating. Have learned a very hard lesson from this company stay away from them, rip off.

Fantastic experience: I eventually located an excellent Travel Agent with a small Hn only company prior to Covid. I engaged them 2 or 3 times a year over about 8, for overseas travel by air, sea, river, and coach, for about 2/3 months at a time. Sadly her firm was liquidated thru the Covid lockdown, and 'my' Agent has not re-entered the travel industry. Over the last 3 year I have used several 'new' (to me) Travel Agents across various organisations. I was quite disappointed with their customer focus, and timeliness, and only used each once. More recently I used Alicia Sutton of H.O.T. Hn. for advisory/planning/ticketing for one 6 week trip (to date). What she has produced following our initial 10 minutes face to face have been nothing but outstanding. She picked up on my broad outline of what I I thought I wanted; filtered it down to exactly what met my requirements; found various providers; made recommendations and has since confirmed bookings after I paid within timeframes. I have yet to pay for her recommended cost effective insurer, and coach tour components, but these both meet my needs, and payment will follow shortly. Alicia's client focus and service delivery have exceeded my high expectations, and her communication has been timely and appropriate. Well done H.O.T. for having such a 'star' available for clients.

Negative experience: Service not even close to 1 Star, only if could give them negative star. Staff was rude and her tone was not respectful. Was not interested to help us with our trip. Giving excuses to cut the line. Luckily they are not the only when in the market. Hopefully they remember this!

Negative experience: Disappointing service. Had a Samoa Resort package confirmed by Cooper. I paid $4.7k, then he called 30mins later saying the resort is actually booked, but he’s reserved another room at another resort but I need to pay an additional $1300. Appalling that they took my money, then confirmed the booking with the resort, I would assume it would be the other way around. Thankfully a full refund was processed. I was warned my multiple friends not to use HOT but was excited to use a travel agent for the first time. Cooper was friendly and professional but overall, poor service and very little remorse for the mishap.

Negative experience: Would rate it negative stars if I could. Took them over 2 hours to reply to me meaning I missed out on the original flights. In their words “next best available flight” was more than $350 difference. Huge waste of my time and money.

Positive experience: Friendly and professional. In the past I've always either arranged my own travel or had it arranged for me by someone at work, so this was my first time using a travel agent. There were three things that stopped me from giving a higher score. 1. I'm convinced, with the benefit of hindsight, that I got the best deal. 2. It took ages of sitting around to get anything organised - if I'd wanted to spend all that time I'd have made the arrangements myself. 3. And finally, when I made the final payment I enquired about options for another, completely different trip, and heard nothing.
